More options to keep you and your pets safe!

We offer in-office appointments, while continuing to offer curbside or drop-off exams, upon request.

YES, we are back to in-office appointments, OR you may continue the curbside service or drop-off with a later pickup that we initiated back in 2020. Know that all of us at Knollwood have been fully vaccinated and will continue to follow 2023-2024 CDC guidelines for any booster recommendations given the resurgence of new variant Covid infections. NO  MASKS REQUIRED CURRENTLY - woo-hoo!

IF you prefer to have an in-office appointment:

  • Just come on in - we'll welcome you!

IF you prefer to have a curbside appointment:

  • Please notify is when you arrive and describe your vehicle.

  • Our Nursing staff will collect all necessary information about your pet's visit via telephone, before your pet enters the hospital.

  • Dr. M will examine your pet and then call you with her recommendations and a treatment plan.

  • Reception will check you out via telephone, with a staff member coming to your vehicle to collect payment.

  • Your pet, invoice, and copy of exam sheet will be returned to your vehicle upon completion of all services.

IF you prefer to have a drop-off appointment:

  • A mutually agreeable pick-up time must be pre-arranged, so please advise us of your desire for drop-off when you schedule your appointment.

  • Please notify is when you arrive and describe your vehicle.

  • Our Nursing staff will still need to collect all necessary information about your pet's visit either in-person or via phone, before you depart.  You may then leave.

  • Dr. M will examine your pet and then call you with her recommendations and a treatment plan.

  • Reception will check you out at the appointed release time after a Nurse reviews all of Dr. Mitchel's prepared release information.

How long will we continue to offer curbside and drop-off visits? Frankly, we think they are a stellar idea for clients with high-risk family members at home (including some of our own).  We've also heard from many clients who love the idea of drop-offs with a later pick-up. So as long as we can get good adherence to pick-up times, and as long as we have clients who feel safer not entering our hospital, we are glad to continue both options as long as we have requests for them.

Just dropping by to pick up food or meds?  If you are visiting to pick up a med, food, or anything else, call when you arrive.  We'll confirm what you need, send a staff member out to collect payment, and bring your items & receipt back to your vehicle. Or, come in for a quick cup of coffee or tea while we get your requested items ready.
