Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy, the injection of homotoxicology medicines into specific points on a pet's body, can be used alone, in conjunction with an acupuncture treatment, or as part of an overall integrative medical wellness strategy to promote health and well-being for your pet. It's also a safe and effective way to treat pain, muscle spasms, allergies, and other hard-to-manage health challenges. Mesotherapy is an exceedingly fast, safe, and effective treatment modality with absolutely no side effects.
Assisi Loop Therapy
Homeopathy and Homotoxicology
Many of us know the benefits of using homeopathic medicines to treat our pets, but we ALL hate the extended wait for results that often accompanies their use! Homotoxicology offers the known benefits of homeopathy with much faster response time. At our hospital, we utilize oral tablets, oral liquid, and autosanguis homotoxicology therapeutics.
Indirect Manipulative Techniques (IMT)
This amazing variation on canine osteopathic techniques is quickly becoming one of Dr. Mitchell's preferred therapeutic modalities. Unlike chiropractic care, which focuses primarily on joints and restrictions in joint motion, IMT focuses on the animal in motion. IMT offers the advantages of restoring the best possible mobility to every patient, by restoring health to the body's joints, blood vessels, nerves, connective tissues, lymphatic system, and craniosacral rhythym.
QGM (Infrasonic) Therapy
QGM therapy is an essential tool we utilize at our hospital to speed healing of injuries in many of our canine athletes involved in agility, tracking, and hunting, as well as in our senior patients who need relief of the pain and inflammation of arthritis and related geriatric joint changes. It utilizes infrasound to speed recovery of damaged skin, muscles, and tendons. It also reduces localized trauma, normalizes cell function, and accelerates healing of damaged tissue. QGM therapy promotes circulation and flexibility of healthy tissues, improves agility and endurance in animal athletes, and speeds post-event recovery in competitive events.
Red Light Therapy
Red-light therapy is another noninvasive treatment we utilize at our hospital to reduce pain and speed healing after injury. Small, hand-held units to deliver a safe but effective beam of red light to the injured area. Red-light therapy is used to speed healing of everything from skin wounds, to tendon injuries, to eye injuries. In some cases, we can even send a unit home with you for continual treatment outside of the office. We have seen wonderful results with the use of this therapy in treating chronic non-healing wounds.
