In 2013, she served as a Teaching Associate for all sessions of the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society's Acupuncture Certification Course for Veterinarians. In 2014, she lectured at the Minnesota Veterinary Manager Group 4 Meeting on integrative practice management, and at the AHVMA Annual Conference on veterinary chiropractic applications. In 2015, she took a 2 year leave of absence from most lecturing, in order to Chair the AHVMA's Conference Committee, to care for an ailing parent, and to concentrate on her own studies in the areas of laser therapy, and advanced traditional Chinese medical acupuncture and herbology. In 2019, she lectured at the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association Annual Conference again.

2020 brought new lecture opportunities for Dr. Mitchell in Texas and South Carolina - however, COVID necessitated cancellation of one entire Conference, and another moved online - Dr. Mitchell will be delivering all 2020 lectures in 2021 instead, either in real time or online - stay tuned!
