Smokey is in desperate need of a new home.  His "dad" died from cancer last year, and his "mom" is unable to care for him due to her progressed Alzheimer's. 

Smokey is an amazing 6 year old cat with a great personality.  He is full of playfulness and generous with his purrs.  He is extremely affectionate, but should be in a home as an only pet. Smokey only likes to share his love with people, not other pets!

“I was so blessed five years ago when Mommy and Poppy took me in off the streets and turned me into a pampered house cat.  We all loved each other so much and, for a few years, life was really good.  Then Poppy passed away and it was just me and Mommy.   After a while, she got something called Alzheimer’s and couldn’t live in our home anymore.  My happy family has been broken up by death and illness and I am desperately seeking a new special person or persons to love.  I’m a quiet boy capable of entertaining myself with my toys.  But I also love to cuddle and be petted.  Do I sound like someone you’d like to cuddle with?”
