If you are not familiar with the World Prayers website, I encourage you to take a look at it.  The objective of their website is to gather the great prayers written by spiritual visionaries of all life-affirming traditions, regardless of religious perspective.  Many of the prayers represented have been used for hundreds - some for thousands - of years.  Others, such as the one below, are from spiritual contemporaries.  Regardless of source, original language, or religious tradition, all invocations, blessings, prayers, and thoughts carry a similar refrain: a love and a deep respect for life in all of its wondrous manifestations, and guidance on how to make life more meaningful.

I went to this website seeking some words of comfort after losing Sofia, my Bull Mastiff, earlier this week. This prayer made me smile and think of Sofia with joy instead of sadness. Finally, she is able to dance free, as we all should - everyday - with the irresistible rhythms of life..

are you lookin' for me?
are you?
are you lookin' for ME?
well you won't find me
'cause I'll be DANCIN'!
I'll be dancin' with the THUNDER
and the IRRESISTIBLE RHYTHM of LIFE!
