Your donation to KPR - whether it be funds, food, medication, or pet supplies - will do more than provide food, medical care, and medication to homeless, ailing pets. In today's difficult economic climate, ANY donation will help other Knollwood clients keep their pets healthy and in their home, until their owners can get back on their feet.  For so many clients, it's not just a matter of being a little "cash-short" till the next payday.  Many clients have lost most of their hours at work or even their jobs.  And some Knollwood clients are losing more than their livelihood - they are losing their homes, and sometimes even their pets.

Fortunately, every pet that we have taken into the hospital and our KPR program, when their owners have had to give them up, have found wonderful new homes.  And because of your generosity, many families have not had to give up their pets.  When we have been fortunate enough to have KPR funds to disburse and have been able to tell concerned clients that their necessary veterinary care has been covered by a donation, many have blinked back tears of disbelief.  ALL have told us that when they can, they will repay KPR for the kindness shown to them.  Amd some have already done so, allowing us to help another needy pet.
