Recent Donations

The donations listed below were made to support KPR, in honor of the following people and pets:

A generous monetary donation was made by Helen Schell in honor of her daughter, Beth Schell.  Rather than receiving a gift for her birthday, Beth asked that her parents make a donation to KPR instead.

The Padrons brought us a wonderful gift of holiday dog cookies and cat toys for our pets.

Another breathtakingly generous donation was made by our Knollwood Angel, who continues to support our hospital anonymously, as she has done for the past decade.  You have our love and gratitude, Mrs. W - we'd have a hard time doing it without you!

The Stevens and Schell family made a monetary donation to support KPR.

A wonderful assortment of holiday goodies were received from the following individuals (and greatly enjoyed by our entire staff!):

  • The Raethz Family
  • The Padron Family
  • The Braus Family
  • The Wendell/Schlipf Family
  • The Rojek Family
  • The Wilson Family
  • The Bezik Family
  • The Martin Family
  • The Harris Family
  • The Brand Family
  • The Przybylinski Family
  • The Martin Family
  • The Stocks Family
  • The Stevens & Schell Family

We also had several wonderful goodie baskets quietly left at our front desk as a surprise to us, and we sincerely thank the anonymous donors!  (If you would like to identify yourselves, Dr. M and staff would be delighted to warmly thank you, in person.)

The families of Sadie Kuester, Nessie Buennings, Punky Solovay, Mel Nicolai, and Pearl Vollwock all donated pet food to our KPR program.

Ms. Schectman brought us several dozen of her fabulous home-made cookies.

Ms. Harmon honored and delighted us all with a gift of dark chocolate-dipped strawberries.

Chester Peth's family donated towels.

Emmie Majancsik's family donated much-needed newspapers for our kennel room.

Ms. Przybylinski brought us cookies to brighten a challenging week spent learning new facets of our computer system.

These listed donations were made to KPR, to honor the memory of deceased persons and pets:

Ms. Jensen donated medical supplies in memory of her kitty Pandora.

Our own Dr. Mary Papacek donated medications in memory of Heidi.

Ms. Thomas donated pet food in mmeory of her dear kitty Sparky.

The Roach and Linn family donated a considerable amount of medication in memory of Owen and Morgan, who they adopted after hearing that the two middle-aged Labs were found running loose and homeless.

The Marianne Linn family donated medication in memory of Ginger and Daisy.  Daisy was a former KPR pet, and Ginger had a book written about her!

Cynthia Puleo made an extremely generous monetary contribution in memory of her dearly loved father, Nicholas A. Constantino.

Roberta Scolla's family donated medication in memory of their dear Max.

Sandy Girard donated medication and herbal supplies, in loving memory of her Doberman, Major.

In loving memory of their senior Westie, Max, the Keys donated medication. Our patients with kidney disease and seizures will benefit from their generosity.

The Harmon family donated a wealth of medical supplies and medications, in memory of their dearly loved Miniature Schnauzer, Bridgit.  Our patients with liver, thyroid, and adrenal disease will benefit from their donations.

In loving memory of her dear Poodle, Copper, Ms. Fugate donated medication and pet supplies.

The Burlingame family donated medication in memory of their little Nick.

The Clines, although not Knollwood clients, are definitely Knollwood "family".  They heard about our donation program and drove all the way from downtown Chicago to donate over $700 of medication and medical supplies to us, in memory of their dear dog, Casey.  Many of our patients with chronic kidney disease will benefit from their generosity.
