Veterinary QGM (infrasonic) Therapy

QGM therapy is an essential tool we utilize at our hospital to speed healing of injuries in many of our canine athletes involved in agility, tracking, and hunting, as well as in our senior patients who need relief of the pain and inflammation of arthritis and related geriatric joint changes.   It utilizes infrasound to speed recovery of damaged skin, muscles, and tendons.  It also reduces localized trauma, normalizes cell function, and accelerates healing of damaged tissue.  QGM therapy promotes circulation and flexibility of healthy tissues, improves agility and endurance in animal athletes, and speeds post-event recovery in competitive events.  Whether your pet has a sprained joint, a bad skin injury, is recovering from surgery, or has a bruising or crushing type injury, QGM therapy can tremendously improve healing and reduce scarring.  Using QGM therapy, we have saved the legs of dogs whose owners were told that their pet needed an amputation; avoided the need for extensive skin grafting; and resolved injuries that were thought to be chronic.  We also commonly utilize QGM therapy to make chiropractic adjustments more comfortable for our patients.  Therapy is painless, takes only 10-20 minutes, does not involve shaving or otherwise affecting the hair coat of your pet, and most pets LOVE the treatment.  We sometimes have to wake our patients up to send them home after therapy!

Veterinary Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is another noninvasive treatment we utilize at our hospital to reduce pain and speed healing after injury. We use small, hand-held units to deliver a safe but effective beam of laser light to the injured area. Laser therapy is used to speed healing of everything from skin wounds to tendon injuries, to eye injuries. In some cases, we can even send a unit home with you for continual treatment outside of the office.  We have seen wonderful results with the use of this therapy in treating chronic non-healing wounds.

Veterinary Homotoxicology

Many of see the benefit of using homeopathic medicines to treat our pets, but we ALL hate the extended wait  for results that often accompanies their use!  Homotoxicology offers the known benefits of homeopathy with much faster response time.  At our hospital, we utilize oral tablet, oral liquid, and autosanguis homotoxicology therapeutics.  Dr. Mitchell has had personal success with the use of homotoxicology in treating her own chronic back pain and spasms, and highly recommends this approach for patients who are not good candidates for acupuncture or chiropractic treatment.  Homotoxicology therapy has also been useful for some patients with chronic allergies who have not responded well to traditional therapy.

Veterinary Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy, the injection of homoxicology medicines into specific points on a pet's body, can be used alone or in conjunction with an acupuncture treatment.  It is a safe and effective way to treat pain, muscle spasms, allergies, and other hard-to-manage health challenges.

Veterinary Skenar Therapy

Skenar Therapy has been used in the Russian space flight program for many years and is widely accepted by Russian health care professionals from many disciplines.  It is a form of diagnostic and therapeutic electromagnetic therapy that works on the nervous system to reduce pain, speed healing, and even identify where in the body pathologic changes have taken place.  We utilize Skenar therapy for muscle, tendon, and joint injuries; to reduce scars; to improve range of motion of injured joints; and to treat patients who cannot take traditional pain medications.  Skenar therapy is painless.  Treatments take approximately 30 minutes.

Which of these therapies is right for your pet?

You and Dr. Mitchell will decide, together, during your pet's integrative consultation appointment.  To schedule a consultation, please click here to contact our Consultation Coordination Team.  Consultation appointments are currently available.
